Prior to last year’s trip to the Philippines, my mother had told me that I will certainly be blessed by the trip. I was skeptical and didn’t believe her. But after last year’s trip, I felt that I got more out of it than the local Muslims we ministered to. This year I felt that calling again to go back to Zamboanga City from the Lord. I felt the need to be used as a tool to further His kingdom no matter how small of a role I may be in. I am very grateful for what the Lord had changed in my life and this is only a tiny token to give back to Him, to serve Him. So my personal prayer request is to be less resistance to how God is going to use me in this mission trip; to trust that His way is the best way.  And hopefully, the ones that benefit this time around will be the ones I’ll be ministering to.
God is good, all the time!!!
