From e-mail =P
Hello BASIC,
It has certainly been a busy week for the team and I. We have been working hard to make 9 laptops we received from donations by our members from church as well as a sole company provider who offered to donate basically as many computers as we needed (older models though but definitely a praise to God how He is providing for all our needs for this missions trip) to run with Windows XP. We are also so thankful for all of our supporters who are supporting this team both financially and prayerfully – we have been blessed with an excess amount of support and we can’t begin to describe how much they have blessed this team.
If you’re wondering how I was able to send this e-mail when I should be on the 15 hour plane ride, it’s because our flight had been canceled and moved till tomorrow (Sunday 8/9/09) at 10:30pm due to a Typhoon Morako that appeared sometime 2 days ago. The typhoon has been slowly been migrating towards the Taiwan/China areas and it is expected to last till August 10th. Please pray for the victims that were directly affected by this natural disaster.
Since the typhoon has left the Philippines area, the team and I, will be trying to catch the 11:00am flight at SFO instead of waiting for the 10:30pm flight at night. Definitely pray for the Lord to deliver us from this spiritual battle – such that Satin is preventing us from getting to the Philippines to do God’s work.
If not me, Eugene and Luke, will keep everyone updated on the current situation.
PS – if you do not wish to be on the mailing list (as long as you’re not on a group mailing list) or if you would like to receive e-mail updates please contact me so I can add/remove you to/from this list
