Before our 3rd session for the computer training in Rio Hondo, we had a team (MUPT) meeting to debrief about the first two sessions. For the most part, I think both went well in terms of execution and the community really responded well to the training; however, there’s always room for improvement! We were reminded to focus on the relational aspect between the students instead of the actual content of what we train on.
With that in mind, we took on a different approach to how we were teaching; such that, the training would be a one on one rather than one to 8. Also, to keep in line with MUPT’s mission which is to facilitate training resulting in multiplication, we would have the students that received training from us to train other students who hadn’t received the training yet. Since we’re only here for such a short time, there was no time to separate the training and the students training others.
please continue to pray for their confidence of those recieving the training – that they will be comforable in using computers even after the training is over.

Hi Greg! thanks for the update and so impressed of your teachability! I don’t know if you have picked-up last last meeting on what Kuya Emo had said , that the manner we teach and the attitudes we show in our training is very important or critical because its what they are gonna try to imitate.
Praying for you all!!
God is good…all the time!
